I just put it in, waited a few minutes and cranked like hell. It ran rough,
belched out a bunch of smoke but eventually idle smoothed out and o took off.
Another time I got stranded at a walmart parking lot and had to follow the full
directions on the container which instructs you to also remove the fuel filter,
dump out half the fuel and replace with diesel 911. This worked. There has not
been one time that it has failed to get me going. I can't answer your question
about the fuel in the lines but perhaps the stuff pushes it's way into the
gelled fuel lines as you are cranking and slowly de-gels them also?

As far as power service products go, all I can say is that the Diesel 911 saved
my a$$ three times last winter when I got gelled. Everytime it literally
de-gelled the fuel and got me started again. One time it was literally stuck
on the side of an interstate gelled up and this stuff got me going. I now use
the stuff in the white container as an antigel and always keep diesel 911 in
my trunk.

I have not yet had such an event with my 83 300SD but I recently changed
fuel suppliers and I am concerned this may happen. When you were stuck on the
side of the interstate and the PS Diesel 911 got you going again did you have
to do anything more than pour it in the tank and wait? How long? I can see
how that would work if the problem was gelled fuel blocking the tank strainer.
I take it that is the typical problem? That is, you don't have to worry about
the line from the tank to the engine compartment?
