Ding, one cleaned control stalk later...
Excellent, wipers work as they should. I even took a minute to adjust the
left-most windshield squirter so it finally gets the one little spot it was
missing.
Sweet, if I'd tried this back 4 years ago when intermittent didn't work at all
I'd have known what to do today. If you're careful this can be pretty easily
done in-situ. In fact I think proper reassembly is easier with it in the proper
place...
