Depends on which injection pump you have. Procedure 07.1-100 shows screw stop for MW pump and 5mm set screw with locking nut (at back of pump, near top) for M/RSF pump (which I think is what you have). Same procedure also says to check and adjust all the linkages first. I've already deleted the original post, so send me you email address again and I'll send you a copy of the procedure.
Even my '87 has this idle speed adjuster. -Max -----Original Message----- From: mercedes-boun...@okiebenz.com [mailto:mercedes-boun...@okiebenz.com] On Behalf Of Jim Cathey Sent: Friday, February 12, 2010 11:05 AM To: Mercedes Discussion List Subject: Re: [MBZ] idle speed > So how do I don that on an OM617, exactly? Where's the idle > adjustment? I believe it's a screw stop on the throttle lever on the IP. -- Jim _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
