My Auto Antenna goes up and down but seems to hang up part way up. It goes down completely but stops about 1/2 up.
Remove it, and clean it really thoroughly. Might not hurt, if you've the inclination, to open up the antenna box and have a look at the innards. They can get surprisingly grotty, and a good cleaning never hurts.
