(btw American money is something like 95% cotton rag, and the ink is impressed with extremely high pressure, so the bills are usually unharmed by the washing machine... Except for emerging a smidge cleaner and sometimes crisper.

Btw does anyone know if the banks press them or something so that they get nice and crisp again so that the ATMs can feed them better?
