I got the line off the strainer no problem, strainer did not budge. Going to have to remove the axle to get to it, or pull the tank.

On the 300SD when I put a wrench on the fuel line fitting nut it turned the tank strainer out, lot easier than dealing with the big strainer nut (which I went and bought a $25 socket for...). But if it is buggered in there, you will have to work at it. I don't know if the gasser is similar or not.

I am going to remove the tank strainer on that 560 and the axle shaft seems to be in the way. It seems the best way is to get a breaker bar on it that will fit above the axle. Using an extension on a ratchet it will run right into the axle. Is this the best way or am I going to have to remove the axle?
