Thank you, Alex, exactly my motivation.

As for an 87 300TE/TD, I know those cars all too well, having owned an 88 
300TE.  A great car, if you exclude the nearly $2k bill for changing out a 
leaky evaporator, but other than that, a nice car.

Just to reiterate, I am looking for a late model car/SUV/whatever to fit my 
current transportation needs, and the primary reason for this is economy and 
reliability.
