He even billed it as a "heavy duty truck". Probably a big diesel jobbie thats 
never been off the pavement.

If he's worried about scratching floor of his
 pickup, why can't he lay a 
piece of plywood on the  floor and "have
 at it?"  Oh, yeah, you did say 
"weird."  Oh, and, if you can't haul
 stuff in a pickup, what the etc., is it 
for, to look at?  Owner can
 say to friends, "Hey, look at my pickup."
