I know right? It gets weirder. He calls me at 11:50 last night, now he wants to drive out here (from Platsburgh, NY no less) and pay me. He still doesn't get that I'm not going to drop the engine off on Monday 45 minutes from here. Finally I've explained that theres NO WAY and decides he's going to get a shipping company to come for the engine.
So I need to figure out how to get the engine out of the pickup... I think I can strap it to a pallet and slide that down my ramp boards. Then I'll explain to this crazy Frenchman that he needs to specify a drop tailgate pickup or the shipper isn't going to be able to get the thing...
