yea, I have dealers we service right now that have those cars with no AC
at all in them. In fact, there is even a cobalt that does not have AC.
I do not know about the add on kit but it would not surprise me.

I had no idea what the present situation is, I just thought it kind of
odd the way they were doing it in 2005. At least the SV package in the
Cavalier and Sunfire included CD player and A/C in 2005.
