That is what I forgot to add. A shaker is a very interesting and, as
OK Don says, cool, (as long as there is no major damage). Just a
reminder that no matter how much we think we can control things, we
are not in control. The cracker I heard coming down the mountainside
rated about 6.5.
We felt this one for about 20 seconds,and heard a low rumbling sound as
well. I was about 30 miles from the epicenter. My wife was in our backyard,
about 9 miles from the epicenter, but didn't notice hearing it. A man was
driving to our office during it, and didn't notice it at all. As long as it
didn't hurt anything, it's kind of cool.
