I'm not discounting the benefits of double-pane glass, but in vehicle applications it's not quite practical once problems set in. Like everything in life, when it works it's beautiful.
That and these cars, when new, wouldn't normally in the price range of most people who get them used, and the parts costs sneak up. I'm just becoming a bit of a pesemistic 20-something I guess...
