Yep - all true.
However, it seems the GPS industry is really trying to muster up some
support against the Lightsquared fast-track FCC rules over-rides.  As
you say, seems odd that one arm of gov't is not speaking to the other
arm.  In consumer world and aviation - GPS jamming will be undoubtedly
problematic - hence the question regarding the GPS industry alerts.
