it might depend on what you mean by "non-conventional fuel", but i can tell you that the ~75K+ miles i have on almost exclusively B99-B100 has been in an '85 300D California model. (this car went through at least 2 open campaigns with Mercedes to replace the original Particulate Trap with something else, then replace that with something else again,... but that last one was back at ~121K miles, just before it's life on BioD started.)

the issues related to modern vehicles not doing well on BioD is related to the Late Post-Injection systems, not so much the Particulate Trap itself. keep in mind that there are little-to-no particulates from BioD; my left rear bumper stays almost perfectly clean (unlike when running #2!).
