Book shows a "special tool" that for transmission 722.120 (W4B 025) is
inserted at the flywheel to lock the crank.  For transmission 722.203
(W4A 040) they say to use a steel bolt in one of the recesses on the
balancing disc.  The illustration shows a socket extension being used.
I don't see why you couldn't use that approach regardless of the
transmission type, so that is what I'm going to try, as I don't have the
special tool.
