I can't think of a single situation that an auto is preferable over a
real transmission, especially offroad. (unless you broke your left
leg or shot yourself in the left foot, which I don't intend to do.)
A question, why would you not like the automatic? It seems to me
that in some offroad situations, that there would be a benefit to an
auto?
t's not the yellow that bothers me, it's the automatic tranny in a 300GD.
