They got the spring and installed it. The old one was not broken, but when they took it out it snapped, so it was quite brittle. The new plate and spring in, cleared codes and reset computer, and as soon as it started up again the problem came back. I think I am back in the market for a used / reman tranny. If we scrape the $ together to get a reman it will be from Rusty. A bad time for this one, though there is never a good time. Bill R

I don't anything about resetting the computer with that method so I can't say if it really works or not. One other thing to check also is to see if the big electrical plug at the tranny is leaking.
