Ditto on blowing out the spark plug area with air. I'd use Kroil or some other penetrant on a stubborn plug. As for the plugs themselves, I'd use whatever GM recommends unless I heard otherwise. Bosch may be fine for some models but not others. I'd use NGK in a Subaru where they're OE but not necessarily in an American car.
