I can't speak for Loran, but I have worked on many, many
machines - some of which are now off the road because they are
unsafe due to rust.  And the Mercedes still surprise me with how
well the fasteners un-fasten.  Even on assemblies that clearly
should be permanently fuse.

So, not every single fasten has unscrewed without effort - but
many, many times they _don't_ twist off!!
