Yeah, W123 diesel wagons are just worth more period. They are tougher and
have a nicer look. I still think the w124 wagons are nice though. Also
1987 is the year where you have to be careful of that defective #14? head.

IIRC this was the only year for the diesel W124 wagon for export to the
US. What about in Europe?
Again, I am astounded that these are worth LESS than the 1978 generation

1987 Mercedes 300TD wagon

453,000 miles. Lots of miles but was running great before it recently lost
power. Maybe the turbo, not sure. Now the starter is not engaging. Maybe
the starter or a connection. Car is in great shape. Garaged winters. Get
it
working and have a great car or use it as a parts car. I may be able to
help with towing if not to far. I want to get it moved soon.
