Very reasonable article - thanks. However, it fails to address the issue of individual action. The article intends to rebut the concept that governments via UN *should* do something about warmist concerns. The issue rather seems to be our waste of resources. If not waste, at least it is an over-use of stuff that really is not necessary. That is where I want to live - using less, consuming less, producing positive impact on resources. In that type positive impact practice / argument, there is a consensus building and... shudder... cooperation and compromise from both sides. When is the last time we have seen compromise or cooperation? Maybe some more compromise and cooperation would be healthy? A bit off the topic of confronting warmist claims, but in a similar cooperative / compromise thinking... Has anyone ever eaten fois gras? - not me. Here is a talk given at TED that is interesting and shows a guy producing fois gras in a manner unlike most today: http://www.ted.com/talks/dan_barber_s_surprising_foie_gras_parable.html http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1919163,00.html mao _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
