Ohhhh I get it, you misunderstand. I mean SOMEBODY is reinstalling their OS every day. Any OS, doesn't matter which. The argument that "Macs don't crash" somehow seems to dodge the fact that they do. Just because YOU don't have a problem with YOUR Mac is just like saying Mercedes never break down... -Curt

Even in your own example you state 2 years, not every day. I've never had any major Firewire issues on any of the Mac's I've used since my G3 in 2000. It sounds more like you just don't like Apple and will come up with technical, social, and political reasons to substantiate your arguments, no matter how weak or disconnected they are from the majority of users who are perfectly happy with Apple products.
