IS the engine really clean? If not, clean it really well. Next time
you smell this, pull over somewhere and inspect everything closely to
see if there is any little drips of something hitting the exhaust, etc.

Hah! My wife's always asking me to smell this or that
out of the refrigerator in order to see if it's still good.
Noses vary. It's not sex-linked.
