Look the problem is that the human body was not designed to live as long
as it does, so things will break down and wear out, a bit of rust is not
unusual but I agree precautions should be taken, like slip, slop, slap.
I seem to remember we had the sunroof debate a few months ago with
Wilton boo hooing those evil things.

I have spent a lot of time outdoors and now, in my 70s, there are
crusty little pre-cancerous bits popping up on my face, hands, and
ears. A specialist uses liquid nitrogen to burn them off
periodically. The skin gets thinner and more delicate.
I guess if you are lucky you die of something else first. My
wife's uncle, a surf fisherman, was so badly badly eaten up she said
toward the end it was difficult to look at him.
