You could try a hydraulic supplier (farm supply?). I note a catalogue that I
received from a local store of that sort has what they call a "return line
heat exchanger". It says it allows hydraulic fluid to be heated or cooled.
Can be used for other applications where oil heating or cooling is required.
Features 22 brass cooling tubes. Max continuous pressure is 150 psi and max
continuous flow is 16 gph. Side ports for oil in and out. Top  ports for
coolant in and out. Both sets of ports are 3/4". Looks like a piece of pipe
with end caps and the ports attached. Not sure how big but appears to be
about a foot long at most and weighs 18#. Cost is $130 Cdn.

I have a chunk of copper pipe of the proper diameter to replace the
straight section of my 300SD's upper radiator hose, but I haven't
gotten around to fooling with it. I intend to wrap a coil of copper
tubing around it and run the fuel through it.
