Yup - doesn't compute for me either, but then again, I barely do the tone CW. I heard stories of comm sargents in WWII, from the hams at Ft. Sill, who would lie back and listen to a stream of CW, then get up and write down a paragraph of text, with no errors. Amazing stuff.
