I went ahead and ordered the Mercedesource Monarch injector nozzles with rebuild kit and tester. I was going to get rebuilds from Rusty but decided that I was interested in learning about this whole rebuild process instead:) One of the downfalls is that I will have to keep my car out of comission for a while. I'm not particularly thrilled about this option as my 240D is my daily driver. I have a set of 220D injectors that may have been rebuilt twenty yrs ago and never used. I don't trust them but was considering rebuilding them with the Monarch injector nozzles for the 240D. My question is: Are the injectors on the 220D the same as on the 240D? Are all the parts-barring the nozzles identical? If so, I can rebuild those and not have my car out of comission.
