With the exeption of an EMP you START THE ENGINE AND DRIVE THE CAR. For chrissakes the Volt has an engine. You make fun of it because you think its an electric car but you're wrong.
Besides which what if something bad happens and you don't have any gas in your car? Failure to plan is failure to plan, doesn't make any difference which car you've got.
