Thats one of the reasons I never replace just a solenoid. I always think "how 
much would I want to do this job again?"
To replace the solenoid step 1 is remove starter...

Ah! I have a W123 naturally-aspirated car and it's not much of a job to
change the starter. I forgot the turbo is on that side!
