In 46 years of driving I had not hit a deer until early one evening in June,
'96; then I did not hit one during the 4 or 4 years that I had the whistles
on my '91 350SDL; still haven't hit one since I took 'em off 12 years ago.

Somebody's hitting a bunch of 'em, though; saw 8 deaduns on the fifty-five
miles between here and Raleigh a few days ago.
