Jon,
You have discovered why I use genuine Mercedes-Benz parts almost
exclusively.  Aftermarket parts aren't what they used to be and the quality
of most are very poor.  "Uro" and similar names make you think they're
actually European made parts, but they're often from China and have a very
short life.

To maintain the reliability and value of your car for the long run, buy the
best you can!  I have the expectation that the parts I install will last as
long as the ones they're replacing.  I think this is a reasonable
expectation, and I also expect my cars to remain on the road for decades
more.
