Lenovo has a very detailed hardware manual on their support site for every model. The manual will enable anyone with normal skills to R&R any component. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully, some steps are not intuitive.

Don't know if it's a separate part like it is in a Mac or not, but if it is, it can be easy or nearly impossible to change, depending on the design. On my old TiBook it was easy accessed by removing the bottom cover, on the 14" G4 replacement required removing nearly the entire guts of the laptop.
