Yeah, and today on the Valley Freeway I drove through the heaviest rain I've seen since leaving the Midwest. It was a really narrow cell, less than a half mile wide, but dense enough that traffic was having to slow down due to the reduced visibility. I've seen worse, but only in Midwest summer thunderstorms.
