Will it "fit" the mount? That is all I'd worry about in such an emergency situation. Volts are volts coming out of the alternator; only the amps willbe different.
Bosch alternators fit the same across a range of sizes. But on high output ones the terminals are different, and of course there's the pulley type to deal with, as well as potential differences in where the pulley's plane lies. But chances are very good it'll work, the worst you'd have to do is transfer the pulleys, etc. -- Jim
