I still worked in phone support when PCIe first came out and it was a but hassle because it replaced PCI-X and many many people thought PCI-X meant PCI Express. It doesn't, it means PCI eXtended. I wish they'd called the new standard Quick PCI or PCIQ or anything without an x in it...

You'll want a PCIe card. Your other mistake is overusing the word "modem". The only time its appropriate in your whole email is "DSL Modem".
