[MBZ] Microwave Ovens on End

Does anyone know if microwave ovens can be operated sitting on the end 
opposite the electronics?
I don't see why it wouldn't work, and I doubt there is a tilt mechanism 
such as in small electric heaters, but thought I'd ask since it's a slow 
day.
The reason is, I'd like to sit my tall coffee cup in one of the very 
small microwaves with it sitting on a long worktable.  That way I can 
reheat the coffee when it gets cold without interrupting work.
