Hey doesn't everyone have at least a smart phone and a couple of tablets?
My good wife and I each have iphones (albeit older ones) and she has
an ipad that is getting on in age plus a newer ipad mini.
Randy who hopes Dan will keep us posted on how well this thing works
in case we want to try one too
No, I have neither. THis OBDII/data logger is intriguing, as is
sometimes having a ipod touch to get email on would be convenient,
but by and large, I don't have see value for the cost.
I see lots of dumb people with "smart" phones. I prefer smart people
with "dumb" phones. My 6 or 7 year old flip phone has better sound
quality that any smartphone I have heard. I just tell people that if
the message is urgent, call me. When I found out my cell phone
carrier was charging me an extra $5/month for "text" I made them shut
it off. So, I don't get text messages. The only ones I was getting
at the time was from the cell phone carrier. That was very annoying.
If anyone wants to send me an old iphone,ipad,android, I might try it
out as a ipod type device, but my phone is staying on a phone, not a
"smart" phone.
