What should one (I) pay for a 96 E300D at auction if the spring perches haven't rusted out, and how can I check 'em readily without crawling around under it with a flashlight? Can I readily see what is necessary from above with hood up? BTW, 'haven't seen it yet and mileage unknown. May not get to see it 'til day before the auction. It's in Eastern NC; if it's been here all of its life, rust a should be nil.
