Andrew,

I would like to see the numbers on this.

For example:
-What is the daily KWh replenishment goal?
-How many square meters of solar cells would be required?
-Assuming the car is driven during the day what battery capacity would be
needed to store datlight energy and recharge the car at night?
-What is the excess battery capacity allowance for cloudy days?
-What are the assumed solar collection and energy conversion
efficiencies? -What is the design range of latitudes?
-What is the useful life and annual de-rating for the solar cells and
batteries?

Similar but more complex design issues exist for wind energy (wind is less
predictable than sunrise).

In short, are there data and facts to support your assertions?

Scott
