Very astute of you Roger. :)

Pre-'82 the fog lights were clear. Check back through the last couple days, we
covered it. I was going to switch to amber but Dwight talked me out of it since
it wouldn't be "correct".

Yeah "Bosch Germany". I'm trying to think of how many of this type I've had. I
think if I count both amber and clear I'm going to say 9 or 10. It baffles me
that in that time I've never seen a sealed beam considering both you and Max
insist that yours are sealed beam.

The $20 question right now is when you checked yours the other day did you
actually look at the back of the bulb or just look at the front and see what
you expected to see? I think from the front it'd be tough to tell the
difference.

Actually, can you get the part number off the front of your lens? If we had
that and it matched my amber spare (provided I can find it) that might help.

Curt,
I'll now have to get into my garage attic and take apart my spare assembly.
However, I have one concern. Your fog light doesn't look very "yellow". Mine
are a deep amber/yellow color, far more so than what yours looks, at least in
your picture. Does the front of your bulb / glass assembly say "Bosch Germany"
as mine do?
Hopefully this weekend,
Best Wishes,
Roger
