I'm not sure what constitutes 'recent' any more, but I still get more calls for the previous owners of a number I've had for over two years than I get for myself (well, these days I pretty much get zero calls for me on that line because I've mostly abandoned it). Most of the calls are from bill collectors on presumably old debt, and one guy keeps persistently calling to sell them something for their home business, but I also get automated calls whenever they schedule a Dish Network field tech visit to their house or they fail to pay their Dish bill, so either they're still giving out the number or they haven't changed it with Dish.
