Skeeters? Cucarachas? Flies? or just mammals?
My cheap pellet gun has cleared out the local squirrel population around
the house (like all guns, it does this all by itself with no human
control), I see some out in the woods but they have not migrated back to
the vicinity of the house and my wife's squirrel feeders.

From the specs for the low to mid range air guns it would appear that .177
delivers way more energy than .22.
