Personal property rights are a hallmark of our country. To make it "our" oil
would mean nationalization of the oil industry. Countries that do that are
usually called Communist.

Well, there's a good reason why the federal government keeps a strategic
petroleum reserve but doesn't have a strategic Mercedes reserve. Oil is needed
to power the war machine.

company. They should be able to do whatever they want with it. You don't want

I don't think we should be exporting oil, it is a limited resource that will
