In the USA, which is full of young ignorant 'automotive experts' who
positively worship Toyota and Honda, if I had a medium old Civic with
ridiculously low miles on it, I'd put it on Craigslist for about 150%
of book value for a car of its mileage and see what happens.

I have considered that but there are so many of them for sale that it
might be hard to get a good price even though the car is like new.
