Thanks so much, Marshall. As usual, you're the Encyclopedia for the list. This will be my first valve job, and I'm glad that you mentioned that the engine needs to be cold. I surely didn't know about this requirement. Since I'm planning to do this myself, that shouldn't be a problem. I wonder, though, how the dealership/Indie gets around this issue. A car will be instantly out of specs the next morning when the engine cools down and all the metals contract.
