This will be my first valve job, and I'm glad that you
mentioned that the engine needs to be cold.  I surely
didn't know about this requirement. Since I'm planning
to do this myself, that shouldn't be a problem. 
I wonder, though, how the dealership/Indie gets around
this issue. A car will be instantly out of specs the
next morning when the engine cools down and all the
metals contract.
