Can you give us specifics? Model year would help, too, as the interior systems went through a number of running production/design changes. Despite having the biodegradable harness, failures in the interior portions of the wiring are really rare. It typically fails where it's exposed to heat, such as the engine compartment. I have never seen an interior harness fail on one of these. In the W140, window operation is controlled by the convenience module, which,,if memory serves me correctly, is located in the trunk on the right side. Failures of the convenience module affect all windows, so if the problems are related to one or two and not all, it's unlikely to be the problem.
