I have, on all my personal computers and laptops. I like it better than 7, but mainly because of the family policy management abilities and improved login - as an OS it's generally the same relatively-stable Windows experience. I don't care for metro but I'm used to it from using 2012 at work, so that was not a big issue. No slowdown or other issues on my older hardware, for what that's worth.
