Kaleb, It does seem to run faster, load, program launches, shut down, etc. Dan, I don't know about security issues. The upgrade kept my Win 7 settings. I then went into Security settings after the upgrade and tweaked anything I didn't like or want. And then I left Defender on and I run Norton, so I don't have security issues...or at least none I know of. Maybe ignorance is bliss, but I'm ok so far.
