Geckos were always in the houses in Hawaii. THey eat mosquitos. They are considered good luck. often they hid in the door jamb. Somone closes the door and you have squashed gecko. Many houses had gecko skeletons stuck in the doorjambs.

Huh? He ran behind the stove before I could get him. Just now he was spotted under a clear lid in the sink. The 18 year old was recruited to get rid of him. He grabbed him by the tail which then fell off so he dropped the lizard. He got him again and got him out of the door. Not sure how the heck he got in the house.
