Had a drought for 2-3 months here in Michigan, then about 15" of rain in August, went from mowing the lawn once a month whether it needed it or not to mowing every five days and being besieged by mosquitoes. The skeeter-free summer was fun while it lasted, but now I can't stand being outside with them after getting used to them not existing.
It's hard to complain about 15" of rain in a month when somebody else gets 30" in a day.
